It doesn't cost very much for me to maintain this website but it would be nice if it paid for itself. There are links to my CafePress shop to the right.

Please take a look at these books that I have recommended through Amazon.com. They will pay a percentage to me whenever anyone purchases one of them.

Glen Facemire's book! He and his wife own Ramp Farm Specialties in Richwood, WV. I've been aquainted with them for several years and Glen probably knows more about ramps than anyone around.

This book would be a good purchase for anyone interested in growing ramps. It is packed full of information on growing ginseng, goldenseal, ramps and eleven other forest botanicals. There is a section about Glen Facemire.

The Wild Vegetarian Cookbook has several ramp recipes in it. It really is written for vegetarians but most of the recipes could be adapted.
Not everyone likes tofu!

Appalachian Home Cooking: History, Culture, And Recipes has a recipe for fried ramps and mentions the Feast of the Ramson in Richwood, WV.
